Frequently asked questions

Resident Students

• Charger Pride meal plan is required for all first-year living on campus.

• After that, students can enroll in one of the following meal plans:Charger Pride, Charger Gold or Charger Blue.

• Meal plan sign-ups or changes can be made through myHousing during the room selection process.

• For inquiries regarding your account or meal plan, please contact the Office of Residential Life at ResLife@newhaven.edu.

• Note: Resident students at the commencement of every semester, are granted a one-week grace period to login and modify their plan once.

Commuter Students

• Students can sign up for any of the meal plans listed on this page by clicking here.
• Please allow 24 hours for the plan to be added to your Charger Card.
• The charge for the plan will be added to your student account prior to the next billing date.
• Those who do elect to purchase a meal plan must re-enroll for each semester that they want a meal plan.
